BAT is evolving at pace into a global multi‑category business and is looking for a Trade Systems Analyst to support the smooth operation, optimization and continuous improvement of our trade systems landscape, including Anaplan, Power BI, Alteryx and Salesforce.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting the day‑to‑day management and maintenance of key trade systems such as Anaplan, Power BI, Alteryx and Salesforce.
- Assisting with the setup and execution of trade campaigns by providing system and data support.
- Helping configure and update campaign objectives within Anaplan and Salesforce.
- Supporting the testing, rollout and adoption of new tools, functionalities and system enhancements.
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and support integration activities.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of trade systems and related processes.
- Troubleshooting system issues and ensuring databases and reporting outputs remain accurate and up to date.
- Supporting CRM reviews and preparing recommendations for improvements.
- Providing reporting and operational support to help drive effective fieldforce and sales execution.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of trade systems.
- Experience with Power BI and reporting.
- BSc degree in a quantitative field (MSc preferred).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage daily system issues with the fieldforce.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Ability to work independently, showing a proactive and solution‑oriented mindset.
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across different departments and maintain relationships with external suppliers.
- A change‑oriented and commercially aware mindset, with the ability to see the bigger picture and drive improvement.
- Experience with Anaplan or Alteryx is beneficial.
