British American Tobacco UK has an exciting opportunity for a B2B & Visibility Project Manager in London, Chiswick – Temporary – 12 months
This role is responsible for delivering visibility initiatives end‑to‑end, ensuring all solutions are feasible, high‑quality, and deployed on time and in full.
The role holder will coordinate across multiple functions.
They are expected to apply strong project management discipline, anticipate risks early, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the defined stages of each project.
A continuous‑improvement mindset and sharp focus on execution excellence are essential.
Success in this role will be measured through delivery accuracy, quality of deployment, stakeholder alignment, and the ability to embed efficient, repeatable visibility deployment processes.
The Project Manager has a direct impact on BAT’s ability to deliver consistent, high‑quality execution across channels.
By ensuring B2B and Visibility projects are delivered on time and in full to the required standards, the role strengthens our operational efficiency, deployment excellence and market presence.
In this, the expectation is to operational efficiency by bringing structure, governance, and clear communication to cross‑functional teams, helping reduce delays, increase deployment accuracy, and embed repeatable best practices.
Through effective supplier and stakeholder management,
Your key responsibilities will include
- Lead end-to-end project management for B2B visibility initiatives, from brief to deployment, ensuring timely execution.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and governance frameworks for visibility programs.
- Align back office and sales teams to ensure the department meets commercial requirements.
- Coordinate production, logistics, and in‑market deployment of materials and unitary across all channels.
- Manage suppliers and external partners to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and on‑time delivery.
- Act as key escalation point to B2B & Visability Lead regarding assets, deployment timing, and supplier performance.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks early, and implement mitigation actions to keep delivery on track.
- Maintain stakeholder communication through progress updates, documentation, deployment readiness checks, and ad hoc B2B project support.
- Comply and implement activities in accordance with the rules of laws and regulations relating to environmental protection, safety at work and fire protection, and internal EHS or Sustainability standards and procedures.
What are we looking for?
- FMCG experience within large organisations.
- Background in Project management, Trade Marketing and Retail execution desirable.
- Highly familiar with project management methodologies and processes (i. e. Prince, RACI)
- Proven success delivering cross‑functional multi‑channel projects.
- Experience working with suppliers, manufacturers, or agency partners in execution environments.
- Strong end‑to‑end project management capability.
- Excellent organisation and planning skills, managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong communication, presentations, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Problem‑solving ability with sound judgement and experience in fast‑paced environments; UK trade landscape knowledge is beneficial.
