What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
The Activation Deployment Manager is a key executional role within the GCE CX Activation team, responsible for handling the deployment of activation initiatives across one of the core pillars—Partnerships, Content, or ACR. Reporting to the Head of Activation Deployment, this role ensures that activation plans are delivered on time, on brief, and in alignment with global strategy and market needs.
The role requires strong project management capabilities, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. It plays a meaningful role in translating strategic direction into operational delivery, while collecting findings and driving continuous improvement.
Role impact:
This role ensures the smooth and consistent execution of activation plans across a key GCE pillar. By leading the operational details and collaborating closely with internal and external partners, the Activation Deployment Manager helps deliver high-quality consumer engagement experiences that support global brand and commercial objectives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the end-to-end deployment of activation initiatives within the assigned pillar (Partnerships, Content, or ACR)
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and effective execution.
- Track project achievements, handle risks, and advance issues to the Activation Deployment Lead.
- Support DRBU engagement and ensure alignment with market activation calendars.
- Contribute to retrospectives and feedback loops to improve future deployments.
- Maintain documentation and reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Manages budget for the assigned pillar (Partnerships, Content, or ACR)
What are we looking for?
- Graduate Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience working within CPG brand led and or Lifestyle organisations
- Solid understanding of brand and campaign planning process; 360 consumer experience plans (seasonal and annually), activations and strategic templates
- Understanding of the Marketing and GCCE Operating Model
- Experience in a marketing planning and/or coordination role
- Organisational skills, specifically in workflow and deadline management
- Partner management skills
- Working at above market/global level
- Experience across Adobe Workfront/ADO
- Understanding of content and campaign planning processes
- Ability to critically evaluate defined WOW and processes
- Proven track record of working on, and inspiring change across a matrix organization and among diverse cultures
- Known to influence and drive partners in a global matrix organization
- Effective communication and presentation skills within international environment
- Knows how to champion an agenda internationally and forge positive relationships with key teams/regions/end markets
- Ability to deliver end-to-end projects with tenacity and purpose
- Resilient, flexible, and confident to work in an agile, dynamic environment
