An exciting opportunity has arisen due to the growing demands of the department, for a graduate/alumni/experienced technician or someone who is looking to further their practice and support a thriving Visual Arts and Design Department. This is an exciting role that covers many disciplines and creative projects.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person with strong and varied technical knowledge and specific knowledge in one of the following areas:

  • Photography (analogue & darkroom knowledge)
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Textiles (machining skills)
  • Screen Printing

as well as a general understanding of how to support a fully equipped Art department. Our facilities include darkroom and photography studio, print room including exposure bed, print press, mac suite and digital equipment and textiles facilities.

This position is a very important role within the school. We are looking for someone who has a clear passion for the ethos, impact and ambition of The BRIT School. For someone who can work under pressure, understand the importance of flexibility and most importantly understands how to work with young people.
