Mobile Plant Mechanic - The Role: You will carry out maintenance on a large variety of mobile plant machinery and vehicles across our busy 24-hour, 7-day-a-week operation. Working shift patterns, you will maintain equipment to the highest standards, working both independently and as part of our team.
Mobile Plant Mechanic You:
- You will be enthusiastic, capable of working on your own initiative and being part of a team.
- Have successfully completed a recognised motor vehicle apprenticeship, Level 3 minimum.
- You will have mechanical knowledge and experience of working with commercial vehicles, forklift trucks and loading shovels, preferably with a multi-skill background, i.e. hydraulics, electrics & diesel engines.
- You must have a flexible attitude and be willing to commit to the demands of a busy Port, which operates over 24 hours/7 days per week working a shift pattern.
- A full driving licence and your own transport are essential.
