We're looking for a detail-oriented and commercially aware Operations Analyst to support data-driven decision making across our operational teams. In this role, you'll work closely with stakeholders to analyse performance, identify trends and inefficiencies, and turn data into clear, actionable insights. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining analytical rigour with business partnering to drive continuous improvement and operational performance.
Key responsibilities- Deliver analytical support across key operational areas, including Cash in Transit, Engineering, and wider Operations.
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Produce performance reporting, dashboards, and management information to support day-to-day decision making.
- Translate data into clear, actionable insights, highlighting root causes and practical recommendations.
- Partner with operational stakeholders, supporting regular reviews with concise, insight-led analysis.
- Present findings clearly and confidently, helping stakeholders understand and act on the data.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by tracking performance and measuring impact.
- Contribute to improving data quality, reporting processes, and overall analytical approach.
- Strong experience in data analysis within an operational, commercial, or analytical environment.
- Proficiency in handling, cleaning, and analysing data using tools such as: Excel (advanced), SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar BI/analysis tools (at least one preferred).
- Ability to summarise complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders through evidence‑based insight.
- Highly inquisitive mindset with a desire to understand how operations really work.
- Experience supporting operational functions such as logistics, field engineering, cash handling, or similar environments.
- Exposure to performance management frameworks, KPIs, or operational forecasting.
- Understanding of continuous improvement or operational excellence methodologies.
