Illustration, literary and licensing agency The Bright Agency are looking for a creative, insightful, driven self-starter ready to come to the role full of ‘good’ ideas, who can continue to deliver and grow our impactful and energetic outreach. They will join our busy marketing team and drive growth for our authors, artists and brands. This person will be responsible for a number of social media channels, our email campaigns, blog and Substack posts and should have design experience using programmes such as Canva, Campaign Monitor and some knowledge of copy creation writing for blogs, Substack and other outlets. This is a unique opportunity to join a busy, fun, inspiring and leading London office, with input across publishing, TV, film and licensing sectors of rights management. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan month-to-month and long-term Licensing/Design and Advertising marketing activity in line with business priorities and industry events.
  • Plan, manage, develop, create and maintain our high-impact email campaign strategy across divisions.
  • Strategic planning and hands-on delivery of high-impact campaigns that develop new licensing business or maintain/grow repeat clients.
  • Popularise The Bright Agency publicly to new/prospective/high-value artists and brands and be the first choice for their representation.
  • Lead Licensing email marketing planning, coordinating, and delivery against financial targets.
  • Drive lead generation initiatives to grow the Bright Agency's financial targets and email contact database.
  • Own and manage the Licensing, Design and Advertising social media accounts, including LinkedIn.
  • Oversee Licensing content across blogs, features, and articles, planning schedules and assigning delivery.
  • Ensure consistent messaging, quality and brand alignment across all Licensing channels.
  • Develop and maintain a high-performance ‘Agency’ Substack that converts free subscribers to monthly-paid with a consistency of quality content.
  • Develop, draft, edit, and send Press Releases to key Press Contacts with the Brand Partnerships Director.
  • Develop, and maintain beneficial relationships with Press contacts.
  • Organise and develop Agency submissions for awards (Nibbies, Rising Stars etc.).
  • Allocate tasks and manage workflows across licensing marketing activity.
  • Work cross-functionally with agents, our designer and leadership to ensure campaigns are aligned and delivered on time.
  • Monitor campaign performance and ensure Licensing marketing activity delivers against agreed objectives.
  • Report on Licensing marketing plans and outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Develop and deliver the full monthly marketing report that covers everything from the Marketing Team.

Skills and Experience

  • Highly organised, collaborative and proactive, with a can-do attitude.
  • A strong understanding of email, social media and analytics.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Creative approach to content and campaign ideas.
  • Able to work well with different people and as part of a team.
  • Experience with content creation tools such as Canva, CapCut or similar.
  • Experience with social schedulers such as Hootsuite.
  • Experience with email campaign software such as Campaign Monitor, MailChimp.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console.
  • Passionate about The Bright Agency and all our authors, artists, brands and publishing and areas we work in with a creative eye and strong attention to detail.
  • A creative thinker who’s keen to learn, take responsibility and get stuck in.
  • Genuinely excited about digital content and a career in marketing.
