An experienced Assistant Manager is needed to join our leadership team at The Bridge Inn, an award-winning 1 AA Rosette gastropub with rooms located in Ratho, Edinburgh on a full-time basis. We are looking for a passionate and driven hospitality professional to support our General Manager and bring energy and enthusiasm to our busy and friendly venue. Situated along the picturesque Union Canal, The Bridge Inn is renowned for its exceptional locally sourced menus, warm hospitality, and vibrant atmosphere. With a popular restaurant, cosy bar, and four beautiful guest rooms, we offer an unforgettable experience for both locals and visitors. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career with a supportive and well-regarded hospitality group in a stunning waterside location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Lead by example, assisting in training and motivating the team to deliver excellent service
- Ensure high standards in both food and beverage service
- Assist in managing staffing levels, inventory, and daily operations to optimise performance
- Monitor sales, control costs, and support the achievement of financial targets
- Contribute ideas for menu offerings, events, and promotions
- Assist in promoting the venue through social channels to attract new and returning guests
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
