Description
There are many reasons to work for The Bridge East Midlands, but the most important thing is the difference you can make.
If you want to use your skills and experience to tackle homelessness, join us and help local people move towards safer, more stable lives.
At The Bridge East Midlands, you will join colleagues who bring energy, commitment and hope to their work. Together, you will make a real difference to local people.
We are a small, close-knit charity with a clear purpose. We work collaboratively, stay organised and are determined to achieve the best possible outcomes for the people we support.
You will receive benefits including additional holiday and flexible working, alongside the training and support you need from day one. We will invest in your development because we value our people and want you to build your skills, grow your career and make the greatest possible difference through your work.
Within this supportive environment, you will have an exciting opportunity to help shape our new Fresh Start service and make a lasting difference to people experiencing rough sleeping, repeated or long-term homelessness, or an immediate risk of returning to the streets. As our Senior Homelessness Prevention and Recovery Worker, you will manage a small caseload and provide intensive, flexible and relationship-based support. You will help people find and sustain suitable accommodation, overcome barriers and build confidence, independence and stronger community connections. Working persistently and creatively alongside each person and our partners, you will recognise that lasting change takes time and is not always a straight path.
For an informal discussion about the role, please contact our Head of Programmes and Services, Anna Maudsley on 01509 648206
