We’re on the lookout for a skilled Barista and Front of House Team Member with a passion for great coffee, proper latté art, and being part of a busy, people‑first team. At The Breakfast Club, our baristas don’t hide behind the machine, they’re front and centre of the caf. We’ll be your go‑to for great coffee, working the machine with speed, care and consistency while bringing a bit of theatre and personality to the pass. Latté art is a must. But this role is much more than coffee. You’ll also be serving guests at tables, running food from the kitchen to the floor, making cocktails and cold drinks, and keeping service flowing at the front of the caf. It’s a fast‑paced role that blends quality, speed, and good times. You’ll work alongside your managers and team to keep the floor running smoothly and the guests happy, one flat white, one Bloody Mary, one brunch rush at a time.
What’s in it for you?
- A free meal and drinks on every shift
- Paid volunteering time, because giving back feels good
- 50% discount for you and up to 3 friends or family, any day of the week
- Share of Tronc for every hour worked, 100% of it goes to our teams, and you can access it as you earn it
- Wagestream access, get up to 50% of your wages whenever you need them
- Los Cincos, 5 extra days holiday once you hit the 5‑year mark
- A chance to join The BC Track Club, think life changing running challenges and more
Who We Are
We started with one little yellow caf in Soho, and now we’ve built a community of cafs in London and beyond, each one with its own quirks, personality, and fiercely loyal regulars. Our cafs are more than just places to get a great breakfast (though we take that very seriously). They’re community hangouts, feel‑good spaces, and a love letter to the greasy spoons and caf culture that raised us. From morning fry‑ups and flat whites to late brunch cocktails and friendly catch‑ups, every caf has its own rhythm, and we love them for it.
What We’re Looking For
You’ve got solid barista experience and experience serving tables, a real love for coffee, and an eye for the little details, because the first sip and the first bite matter. You’re confident on the machine, quick on your feet, comfortable running food, and can handle a busy floor with personality and care. You can pour the latté, shake the cocktail, serve tables, and still make the regular at the bar feel like they’ve found The Nation’s Best Loved Caf. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
Salaries are based on OTE (On target earnings).
