Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the equipment and plant are maintained.
  • React to breakdowns quickly and efficiently.
  • PLC fault finding to input and output level.
  • Remedy issues highlighted by our in‑house HACCP audits.
  • Respond to out‑of‑hours calls for breakdowns.

Qualifications

  • Logical thinker with a proactive approach to resolving issues and faults.
  • Electrically and mechanically skilled, an engineering‑based NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification (C&G 2330 or similar).
  • Qualified to (or be prepared to qualify to) Electrical Installations BS7671:2008 (2382‑15) 18th Edition and upgrade as new editions are released.
  • Preferably holding an HNC (Level 4) or equivalent qualification in an electrical/mechanical engineering discipline; previous control/instrumentation experience highly desirable.
  • Understand OEE and equipment performance metrics.
  • Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to record planned maintenance and reactive tasks.
  • Experience with bakery machinery.
  • Have HACCP awareness.
  • Troubleshooting on electrical equipment is a must.

Shift Times

6 am-6 pm & 6 pm-6 am: 2 days day shift and 2 days night shift on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
