The Bread Factory is London’s leading Artisan Bakery, known for award-winning breads, pastries, and cakes, supplying top-quality products across e-commerce, grocery, food services, and retailers such as our GAIL’s Bakeries nationwide. As our teams grow, we seek our next Packaging Buyer to join our team.

Manage the full procurement process including market research, competitive pricing, supplier selection and negotiation, contract implementation and supplier performance review on ingredients.

Manage the packaging and GNFR categories, retender as appropriate, according to buying calendars and seasonality.

Actively maintain live knowledge of supply markets and implement buying strategy.

Liaise with the Production, Purchasing, NPD, Finance, Technical, Sales and Operations teams to ensure a smooth running of the business.

Proven experience in procurement as a Buyer, ideally within packaging markets or trading environments categories.

A strong analytical mindset with the ability to track market trends and supplier performance.

Building supplier relationships and managing stakeholder expectations.

Presenting strategies, insights, and performance reviews to senior leaders.

A curious, commercial, and proactive approach to procurement.
