- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for the product range using historical data, market trends, promotional activity, and customer input; generate reliable short‑term and long‑term demand plans with forecasting tools and software.
- Analyse historical sales data, market trends, and customer orders to identify patterns and adjust forecasts accordingly.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to integrate promotional plans, new product launches, and production capabilities into demand forecasts.
- Communicate with suppliers to manage lead times and stock levels, ensuring product availability.
- Work with supply chain and logistics teams to manage inventory levels, preventing stockouts or overstock situations.
- Provide regular reports on demand trends, forecast accuracy (e.g., MAPE), and inventory performance; present insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Identify areas for improvement in the demand‑planning process, streamline processes, and increase forecast accuracy.
- Participate in S&OP meetings, contributing updates on supply and demand alignment.
