As a Bakery Supervisor, you will lead and support our baking team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily production, ensuring quality control, and managing a team of bakers to ensure smooth operations in our busy bakery.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversee the daily production of bread, pastries, and baked goods, ensuring consistently high standards of quality, taste, and presentation while meeting agreed production schedules.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of bakers through clear direction, hands-on support, regular briefings, and constructive feedback to drive performance and continuous improvement.
- Actively participate in the full baking process including preparation, mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking, ensuring strict adherence to recipes, traditional methods, and food safety standards.
- Manage operational efficiency by monitoring workflow, resolving production or equipment issues promptly, maintaining a clean and well-organised bakery, and ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support the wider success of the bakery through effective stock control, ingredient management, equipment care, and involvement in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members to build a strong, skilled workforce.
About You
- Have previous experience in a bakery or food production environment, with a solid understanding of artisan bread and pastry techniques.
- Have strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team of bakers.
- Are organised, efficient, and able to manage production schedules and workflows effectively.
- Are passionate about quality baking and committed to maintaining the highest standards in everything they do.
- Have knowledge of health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and best practices in bakery hygiene.
- Are proactive in problem-solving and able to manage challenges during production.
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Shift: 5:00PM-2:00AM
Pay: £15.70 per hour
