As our teams grow, we seek our next Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. Every day is different at The Bread Factory, but here are some of the things you will be doing:

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the equipment and plant are maintained.
  • React to breakdowns quickly and efficiently.
  • PLC fault finding to input and output level.
  • Remedy issues highlighted by our in‑house HAACP audits.
  • Respond to out‑of‑hours calls for breakdowns.
  • Use logical thinking with a proactive approach to resolving issues and faults.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Electrically and mechanically skilled, an engineering‑based NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification (C&G 2330 or similar).
  • Qualified to (or be prepared to qualify to) Electrical Installations BS7671:2008 (2382‑15) 18th Edition and upgrade as new Editions are released.
  • Preferably holding an HNC (Level 4) or equivalent qualification in an electrical/mechanical engineering discipline and previous control/instrumentation experience highly desirable.
  • Understand OEE and equipment performance metrics.
  • Experience using CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems) to record planned maintenance and reactive tasks.
  • Experience with bakery machinery.
  • Have HAACP awareness.
  • Troubleshooting on electrical equipment is a must.
Shift Pattern

6 am–6 pm & 6 pm–6 am: 2 days Day shift and 2 days Night shift on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
