About us: The Bread Factory is London’s leading Artisan Bakery, known for award-winning breads, pastries, and cakes, supplying top-quality products across e-commerce, grocery, food services, and retailers such as our GAIL’s Bakeries nationwide. We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering fresh products to customers efficiently and on time while ensuring excellent service.

What’s in it for you?

  • Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off (rolling rota)
  • Working Hours: 12-hour shifts
  • Start Time: Approximately 11:30am (subject to route allocation)
  • Pay Rate: £19.20 per hour

Every day is different at The Bread Factory, but here are some of the things you will be doing:

  • Delivery of our products and collections of equipment to/from customers’ sites and distribution centres
  • To drive Category 1 vehicle safely, legally and efficiently as required
  • To positively represent the company when delivering to customers
  • To comply with all drivers' hours and relevant legislation
  • To carry out all necessary checks to ensure that the vehicle is safe and legal, and to follow company's defect reporting process
  • Report any accidents as soon as possible and in compliance with the company’s accident reporting procedure
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle at all times
  • To comply with all Health and Safety and Food Safety requirements at all times
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
