As a Packer, you will be responsible for packing our freshly baked products safely and efficiently, ensuring that they are ready for delivery or sale. You will work as part of a team to ensure the products are packed to the highest standard while maintaining a clean and organised workspace. Apply only if you hold a valid UK driving licence, as the role may involve driving a company van between sites to transport packed products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pack bread, pastries, and other baked goods in line with company standards and customer requirements
- Ensure products are protected to maintain quality and presentation
- Check products for accuracy, quantity, and variety before packing
- Apply correct labels including product details and best before dates
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health and safety, and food safety at all times
About You:
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Able to work well as part of a team with clear communication skills
- Comfortable with physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting
- Reliable, organised, and able to follow instructions accurately
- Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to team success
- Previous packing or food production experience is an advantage but not essential
Shift Pattern: This role operates on a rolling rota, working any five days out of seven each week. Working hours are 4:00pm to 1:00am.
Pay Rate: £12.75 per hour
