We are a fast-paced, rapidly growing, and dynamic retailer, and we’re looking for a Studio Production Manager to join us on a fixed-term basis. This is a unique opportunity for a driven, well-organized person, who possesses both creativity and commerciality, and who wants to contribute to making a positive impact to a successful and fast-growing company. The role requires a strong leader who can support and mentor a team to deliver at pace and will require collaborative working with the wider BrandAlley teams, namely buying.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead and oversee all studio content production from concept to post-production, maintaining excellence across all formats.
  • Manage the daily studio schedule, coordinating with external model agencies, freelance photographers, and stylists to secure top talent.
  • Collaborate closely with Buying and Marketing teams to plan, produce, and deliver shoots on time and on brand.
  • Provide hands-on mentorship to the Studio Production Coordinator, delivering regular, constructive feedback to drive professional growth.
  • Manage and track the studio budget, conducting monthly reviews with the Finance team to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Organise and run model castings, maintaining strong relationships with agencies to secure the best available talent.
  • Expand and refine the freelance talent roster to ensure a diverse and high-calibre creative network.
  • Maximise the use of internal production capabilities, reducing reliance on external vendors where possible.
  • Identify and secure shoot locations, including studios, location houses, and international destinations.
  • Maintain and enforce styling guidelines to ensure brand consistency across all imagery.
  • Oversee regular audits of photography equipment, styling wardrobe, and props, ensuring resources are maintained and updated.
  • Maintain studio space, regularly doing a clear out to ensure studio space is kept organised. Think of ways to optimise space to create an inviting and creative environment.
  • Approve freelancer invoices in line with company processes and budget controls.
  • Ensure daily shoot targets are met and minimise re-shoot requirements through rigorous quality control.
  • Stay ahead of styling trends and competitor activity to keep content fresh, relevant, and competitive.
  • Quality check all imagery before delivery to the retouching team to ensure it meets brand standards.
  • Support additional ad hoc production needs as required.

What you’ll bring

  • 5-7 years’ experience in a fashion studio environment.
  • Previous experience managing relationships with both models and agencies.
  • Experience using CaptureOne.
  • Ability to plan a creative brief, and able to follow a given creative brief.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to motivate team to maximise employee performance and satisfaction.
  • Lead by example in all work-related activities, acting as a role model and mentor for employees.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable and ability to work autonomously.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and takes initiative.
  • Must have a positive ‘can do approach’ and be flexible to go the extra mile.
