Working as part of the CRM team, you will be supporting the overall CRM strategy for email, SMS & push marketing, customer activation, loyalty and retention by planning, managing and executing key communications. This role reports to the Senior CRM manager and requires working in partnership with key stakeholders towards the vision of growing the brand and creating a best‑in‑class customer experience. We are at a pivotal point in our growth trajectory and have a number of exciting new projects on the roadmap, including launching a new app and integrating a new CRM platform.
What will you be doing?
- Customer Retention Strategy: Responsible for the production and development of emails to increase engagement and revenue generated by using segmentation techniques to produce timely and relevant communications and ensuring tone of voice is appropriate and in line with company objectives. Work with the data analyst to segment the customer database to improve results, retention and ROI for all email, SMS, and push notification marketing strategies. Support the Senior CRM manager and wider team strategy specifically within automations, optimising the series‑based emails (welcome series, abandoned cart, post‑purchase and lapsed buyer). Support and execute a continuous refinement/optimisation of all email communications to maximise engagement and revenue generation whilst meeting brand guidelines. Work closely with merchandising and buying teams to help drive sales promotions and large‑scale campaigns.
- Email Execution: Maintain the CRM marketing calendar and execute production schedule to ensure timely delivery of communications. Line management of one CRM assistant. Develop, execute and optimise email marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement. Monitor and analyse email campaign performance, run A/B tests to improve results, and provide regular reports. Draft, design & deliver engaging BAU emails in collaboration with the content, copy and buying teams. Ensure emails are delivered on time, to a defined segmented audience, following email best practice. Become and/or act as a subject‑matter expert within the business for email marketing and marketing automation.
- Reporting: Support the data team with the production of weekly, monthly and quarterly customer dashboard reporting, ensuring correct interpretation for all recipients. Help with the delivery of all post‑campaign analysis against KPI targets to support ongoing CRM understanding and development.
