Are you a talented multimedia designer with a background in video, photography, animation and digital content, looking to take your skills to the next level while making a meaningful impact? You’ll be a vital part of our Marketing team taking on a wide range of multimedia projects, from creating campaign videos and animations to shaping our photography library. You’ll bring your creative flair to concept sessions, pushing boundaries with fresh media ideas that align with our cause. With keen attention to detail and high standards, you’ll ensure The Charity’s brand is consistently represented across all media and outputs. Location: While contracted to our office in Fleet, Hampshire, our team supports a blend of office and home working provided you have adequate broadband and IT capability, with an average of 2-3 days in the office each week.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, with some out-of-hours work.
Benchmarked salary: c. ÂŁ40,600 (dependent on level)
You’re a multimedia designer who thrives on creative challenges, bringing ideas to life through video, photography, animation and motion graphics. You work efficiently while maximising every opportunity to elevate campaigns, feeding into concepts and shaping the bigger picture. You are strategic and creative, detail-oriented and capable of delivering high-quality digital media that delivers impact.
Responsibilities- Lead the creation of engaging video, photo and motion content from concept development through final delivery, including scripting, storyboarding, filming and editing.
- Oversee photography across The Charity, identify gaps in our photography, build and develop our image library through regular photoshoots, and ensure consent processes follow our data management policy.
- Plan, organise and coordinate on-location and studio filming and photoshoots, ensuring shoots meet creative briefs.
- Conduct interviews and film case studies to capture authentic stories that connect audiences with The Charity’s work.
- Shoot and produce high-quality digital video content end-to-end, from scripting and sourcing to editing and publishing.
- Edit raw camera footage, audio, sound effects, graphics and effects into polished content tailored to target channels.
- Apply post-production skills including audio mixing, colour grading and motion enhancement to deliver professional outputs.
- Produce animation, motion graphics and kinetic typography to enhance campaigns and digital storytelling.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Fundraising and other teams to generate ideas, develop storyboards and create promotional video content for external use.
- Deliver optimised video and motion assets in formats suitable for social media, web and other channels.
- Lead the photo and video consent process, ensuring GDPR and policy compliance and supporting teams in following best practice.
- Provide training sessions for staff on video, photo and content creation to develop creative skills across The Charity.
- Maintain an always-on bank of innovative content and manage The Charity’s photo and video libraries to ensure access, organization and brand compliance.
- 5+ years experience in videography, photography and motion design with a proven track record across projects.
- Experience delivering digital campaigns, brand storytelling, marketing assets and cross-channel content.
- Portfolio/showreel demonstrating versatility, creativity and technical expertise in video, photo and animation.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality, on-brand video, animation and motion graphics for social, web and other digital channels.
- Project management from concept to completion, managing timelines, revisions and feedback.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and maintain quality.
- Strong collaboration skills to interpret briefs and deliver motion content that supports creative strategy.
- Solid grasp of video and motion design principles including pacing, storytelling, typography and sound integration.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop) and other motion tools.
- Experience working within brand guidelines and adapting assets across formats and platforms.
- Ability to maintain consistency across channels while keeping outputs fresh and engaging.
- Attention to detail to ensure edits, animations and graphics are polished and on-brand.
- Clear communication of motion concepts and rationale to creative and non-creative stakeholders.
- Confidence presenting work, handling feedback constructively and refining outputs as needed.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs with a proactive approach to innovation.
