Overview
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated bar supervisor to assist the restaurant managers in the day-to-day running of the bar and deliver exceptional service to customers.
We seek personable individuals to join our bar team to assist with the delivery of exquisite cocktails and exceptional wine.
This role is ideal for an experienced bartender who prides themselves on product knowledge, excellent service, and connecting with guests.
The successful candidate will set an example for the team and help train others to be the best they can be.
A minimum of 1 year's experience in a quality restaurant is required.
- About the Bar Supervisor role
- Provide exceptional customer service while carrying out all duties required
- Take part in the setup of the bar
- Take orders and prepare drinks
- Prepare hot drinks
- Participate in the delivery of all food and beverage services
- Take part in the setup of the bar and events
- Nurture and develop new commis bartenders
- Adhere to all company policies and departmental procedures/trainings
- Liaise with key people in all necessary areas of the business to ensure beverages and service are consistent with the menu/standards set by managers
- Handle guest requests effectively and courteously, referring to the line manager if necessary
- Manage ordering and stock control with confidence
- Hours
45 hours per week.
Qualifications
- Leaving Cert level education or above
- NVQ qualification or equivalent
- Ability to display a real passion for food, beverage and customer service
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Hands-on and proactive approach
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
