The role
We’re looking for a commercially minded, hands-on Marketing Manager to own our digital marketing, CRM, and membership strategy. This is a newly created position and a genuine opportunity to build something - you’ll have real ownership and direct impact on revenue. You’ll act as the internal conductor for all marketing activity: managing our Agency partner, briefing our content team, and driving the membership funnel from awareness through to retention. You won’t be executing in a vacuum - you’ll be setting the strategy and holding the wider team to account. You’ll have the opportunity to pitch exciting partnership opportunities and develop new ways for us to grow our community, from London to the rest of the UK.
What you’ll do
- Manage the CRM alongside Agency partner: segmentation, automated flows, list hygiene, and performance reporting
- Lead all email marketing: campaign planning, copywriting briefs, A/B testing, and deliverability management
- Drive membership growth and retention - owning the acquisition funnel from first touch through to renewal
- Manage our Agency partner, briefing campaigns, reviewing performance, and optimising spend efficiency across a monthly budget
- Coordinate our content team with clear briefs, a shared calendar, and consistent brand output
- Build and maintain the digital marketing calendar across email, paid social, organic, and event-based activity
- Report weekly on core KPIs: member acquisition cost, LTV, email engagement, and paid ROAS
- Identify opportunities to bring more capability in-house and reduce external dependency over time
What we’re looking for
Essential:
- 3-5 years of marketing management experience, with demonstrable ownership of CRM and email programmes
- Hands-on experience with a major CRM/ESP platform (Klaviyo, HubSpot, Dotdigital or similar)
- Experience working closely with agencies and partnerships
- Strong analytical capability - comfortable with attribution modelling and building your own reports
- Excellent written communication skills - able to brief, edit, and where needed, write
- A track record of managing budgets and being accountable for commercial outcomes
- Highly organised, self-directed, and comfortable in a fast-moving SME environment
Desirable:
- Background in retail, fashion, luxury, or events-led brands
- Experience working with loyalty, tiered membership, or subscription programmes (but not essential)
- Knowledge of SEO and organic content strategy
- Experience reducing external agency dependency by building in-house capability
What we offer
- A senior, autonomous role with real ownership from day one
- Direct access to leadership and a short decision-making chain
- The opportunity to build and shape a marketing function, not just maintain it
- Competitive salary
- Hybrid working - London-based with flexibility
- Staff access to exclusive sample sale events
