Bowker Motor Group are recruiting a full-time Motor Vehicle Paint Sprayer for their Preston Centres.
The Role:
- Painting and finishing
- Maintain workmanship standards and product quality to the highest levels
- Be responsible for all aspects of paint process including mixing paints, surface preparation, maintenance of equipment and spray booth
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Preparing surfaces for painting by meticulously cleaning, buffing, polishing and masking the areas that should not be painted
Skills & Experience:
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Proven experience as a Spray Painter/Paint Technician/Paint Shop Prepper in the automotive or vehicle manufacturing industry
- In-depth knowledge and skill set of paint application techniques, body filler, surface preparation and refinishing processes
- Proficiency in using computerised paint mixing technology to achieve precise colour matching
- Excellent attention to detail and colour perception skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and can work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, while also collaborating effectively with the team
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Working hours: 40 per week, Monday to Friday, with an unpaid lunch break of 30 minutes.
