Solgar® International is searching for a self-motivated Brand Manager who wants to learn from a dynamic leadership team. The right candidate will also be passionate about health and wellness and will want to use that passion every day to support building the Solgar brand in global markets.
Our Brand Manager will have a direct hand in bringing the Solgar brand to markets, supporting local teams to develop robust brand building plans. This individual will assist the strategic plans that move products to the shelves of our retailers and trusted distributor partners. This will include interfacing with the local distributor teams as well as NHSc markets to facilitate the required brand building content, keep global master brand kit updated, support launches and I&R roll outs through marketing kits.
This person will be responsible for managing complex projects with diverse stakeholders. Key skills will be development and management of timelines, decision points, and stakeholder alignment. Must keep projects on track and on target. Co-lead key marketing forums & cross-market exchanges. Share best practices and bring to the table new opportunities that could help accelerate growth.

- Marketing & Brand Strategy: Assist and develop innovative marketing strategies to achieve corporate revenue goals, in addition to supporting the Director International Marketing with additional growth opportunities in newly launched or developed markets. Partner with cross-functional teams to implement and lead the execution of marketing programs. Educate and police the brand standard.
- Marketing & Brand Performance Reporting: Manage the daily analysis and measurement of brand performance, including evaluation and input on key brand growth indicators and support budget management.
- Product Marketing: Support Brand and Portfolio director on I&R initiatives by developing clear set of assets, in-store display materials (planograms etc.), online activation tool kits, education materials. Competitive analysis across full portfolio supporting NPD both pre and post launch and forecasting overall product performance.
- Brand Equity and Communications Planning and Execution: Supports agency partners in creative development, asset development and execution of consumer activation.
- I&R Process: Supports innovation development and renovation opportunities with cross-functional team from concept to opportunity assessment through launch within our internal stage gate process. Be the custodian of the global marketing toolkit. Ensure breadth of touchpoint coverage. Support packages for key I&R roll outs, including the development of compelling sell-in stories/toolkits to ensure customer acceptance of innovation. Ensure execution excellence working closely with the markets.
- Business and Brand Analysis: Monitoring and reporting competitive and brand analysis to assist in formulating brand strategy.
- Relationship: Build relationships with key stakeholders across the organization in a variety of corporate functions including sales, operations, finance, and regulatory.
- Day to Day: Owns and actively manages brand marketing budget. Sets and tracks KPIs, offering recommendations for optimization of plans/assets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in an international environment (someone who worked in international/regional roles in addition to local marketing roles would be great).
- Experience in product marketing vs. just brand marketing (role of product, packaging, claims, support assets to bring it to life across touch points).
- Understanding of digital/e-com channels and social media.
- Interest in H&W or nutritional products category (prior experience in relevant categories would be a plus).
- Good experience in working with creative/media agency and/or internal design and creative teams to deliver robust marketing toolkits.
- Used to work in an international environment and to collaborate with individual countries.
- Ability to work in/lead cross-functional teams.
- Good know-how of topics in digital/eCom as well as experience in executing online marketing activities.
- Experienced in driving several projects at one time in an organized manner and keeping necessary stakeholders engaged at all times.
- A self-driven mindset who would lead his tasks from start to end without the need for being micro-managed, while keeping his/her team members, stakeholders and leadership involved.
- Creative storyteller with an uncanny ability to tap into social trends and quickly get into the conversation in brand-appropriate ways.
- Mental agility to acquire new skills and to apply them within the strategic framework of the business.
- Within evolving organization setup, ability to lead in a start-up context with an entrepreneurial spirit, being comfortable with ambiguity, manage complexity but striving for simplicity and focus.
Additional Information Required Experience: 5+ years of professional experience preferred. Strong branded product experience required. Client-side agency experience ideal, but not required. Good balance between strategy, problem-solving and on-ground execution.
