Join us at The BoTree as we launch an exciting new model of Conscious Luxury where wellbeing, culture and community sit at the heart of a world-class hotel experience. The BoTree Wellness Club will be a social wellness private members club blending wellbeing, culture and meaningful connection within a luxury hotel setting. As we prepare for launch, we are seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our pre-opening team and support the delivery of a vibrant, wellbeing-focused food experience within this unique environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, wellbeing-focused dishes
  • Leading kitchen service and maintaining excellent culinary standards
  • Supporting menu development aligned with the clubs wellbeing philosophy
  • Managing kitchen preparation, service flow and food quality
  • Coaching, mentoring and developing junior kitchen team members
  • Ensuring food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance standards are upheld
  • Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and front-of-house team to deliver seamless member experiences

About You

  • You are a passionate and organised chef who thrives in premium restaurant, hotel or private members club environments and enjoys creating thoughtful dishes that contribute to a holistic wellbeing experience.
  • 3-5 years experience in a high-quality restaurant, hotel or members club kitchen
  • Previous experience as Junior Sous Chef or Sous Chef
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • A passion for high-quality ingredients and thoughtful, balanced cuisine
  • Interest in wellbeing, nutrition and mindful hospitality
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Experience in pre-opening or new concept environments is an advantage
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends in line with member events
