We are looking for a Luggage Porter to join our Concierge Team. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional guest experiences, providing a warm welcome and professional assistance from the moment guests arrive. Working closely with the Concierge and Front Office teams, you will support the delivery of outstanding guest service whilst ensuring a seamless and memorable arrival and departure experience for every guest.

The Role

  • Act as part of the Concierge Team, ensuring smooth daily operations and proactive guest assistance throughout the guest journey.
  • Deliver a warm, professional and welcoming arrival and departure experience for all guests.
  • Assist guests with luggage handling, storage, transportation and delivery requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, introducing hotel facilities and services where appropriate.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, enquiries and directions, ensuring exceptional service at all times.
  • Support the Concierge and Front Office teams in maintaining a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organisation and presentation of guest-facing areas, including the hotel entrance and luggage storage areas.
  • Liaise closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Security and other operational departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Support sustainability initiatives and energy-saving projects in line with The BoTree's values and commitments.
  • Foster a culture of guest excellence, service and genuine hospitality, contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment.

About You

You will have experience within a guest-facing hospitality environment, ideally within a luxury hotel, and understand the important role that first impressions and personalised service play in creating memorable guest experiences. Passionate about hospitality, you will take pride in delivering exceptional service, anticipating guest needs and ensuring every interaction reflects the highest standards of luxury hospitality. You bring energy, a positive attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed, contributing to a culture where both guests and team members can flourish.

We're looking for someone with:

  • A passion for luxury hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Experience in a guest-facing role, ideally within a luxury hotel environment.
  • Knowledge of luggage handling procedures and guest service standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and colleagues.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive, professional and collaborative approach, with the confidence to build strong relationships across the hotel.
  • A commitment to sustainability and responsible hospitality.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to working hours and operational demands.
