The Botanist Edinburgh are recruiting a General Manager! Salary up to £55,000 (DOE) before bonus, benefits and tronc!
What will you do? As a General Manager at The Botanist Edinburgh, you are the leader of everything within your unit. You have a proven track record in developing people which will serve you well in your site and allow you to focus on the bigger picture. You will have full autonomy over your PL and ensure that all targets are met in terms of financial performance. This role, however, is in no way an Office one. You are expected to be leading from the front at all times in your site. Although you are an expert in finance, you will spend the majority of your time with your people to make sure your teams are as bought into success as you are.
Working with your management team, you will ensure that the development of your team is happening with appraisals and performance chats, promoting the development of Future managers. All HR matters will fall to you so ownership over your whole unit is a must. You will work to have a constant stream of people ready to take their next career steps, even if this means promoting to a new site for their next opportunity.
