The New World Trading Company is looking for an experienced Drinks Manager to take full ownership of our drinks menu, from concept to delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our drinks strategy, blending creativity with commercial thinking to ensure our cocktails and serves stay ahead of the curve.
As Drinks Manager, you\'ll work closely with the Marketing, Operations and Training teams to develop seasonal specials, innovate on core menus, and maintain the quality and consistency that makes NWTC drinks so well loved. You\'ll have the freedom to shape the direction of our drinks offering while making sure it\'s practical for our teams to deliver in a high-volume, guest-focused environment.
What you\'ll be doing
- Leading one major drinks menu update per year and developing seasonal specials that wow our guests.
- Creating detailed drinks specifications (recipes, methods, batching guides and allergen information) that set our teams up for success.
- Managing our master drinks list and product range, ensuring a balance of innovation and operational simplicity.
- Building strong relationships with suppliers and partners to maximise brand support and marketing opportunities.
- Reviewing guest feedback, sales data and competitor activity to keep our drinks offer competitive and commercially successful.
- Supporting our Training and Marketing teams during menu launches, promotions and photoshoots.
What we\'re looking for
- Significant operational experience in hospitality, ideally in bar leadership or drinks-focused multi-site roles.
- A strong practical understanding of cocktail creation, prep systems, and speed of service.
- Commercial awareness, including experience with pricing, sales analysis and supplier management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills - able to work cross-functionally with multiple teams.
- A passion for drinks, innovation, and staying ahead of trends in the industry.
- At least two years\' experience in a similar role.
