Overview
As a Senior AI Tech Consultant in BCG Platinion’s Telco practice, you guide complex tech and transformation initiatives from problem structuring to executive recommendations. You will work with client leadership and cross-functional teams to prioritise AI value, build roadmaps, and scale GenAI and agentic solutions. Your impact spans modernising telco platforms, improving digital experiences, and enabling cloud-based engineering delivery. This role offers hands-on architecture-to-delivery influence with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced transformation context.
Responsibilities
- Structure problems and develop hypotheses for client engagements
- Translate analyses into executive recommendations
- Lead workstreams across telco platforms, digital experience, cloud transformation, and GenAI initiatives
- Coach junior colleagues and support proposals and client relationships
- Governance, value tracking, risk management and programme assessment for implementations
- Facilitate client workshops and articulate actionable roadmaps and business cases
Key requirements
- 6–10 years of technology consulting or related experience
- Strong telco industry knowledge and CSP exposure
- Experience in multiple areas: telco platforms, digital experience, cloud/engineering transformation, GenAI/agentic transformation, operating models, or tech economics
- Understanding of GenAI applications and responsible AI considerations
- Ability to develop roadmaps and executive recommendations; strong stakeholder management
- University degree in STEM or business; MBA/MSc advantageous
- Excellent English communication skills
