Overview
As EMESA Senior Staffing Specialist, you steer talent deployment for BCG X across projects, balancing business needs with individual development. You partner with LAB system leaders, GMs, and the staffing team to assign talent to won work and new opportunities, optimizing resource use. You’ll influence staffing policies, maintain visibility on allocations, and ensure fair, diverse staffing decisions. This role sits at the intersection of talent strategy, finance, and People & Development to enable scalable, impact-driven outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Optimize deployment of BCG X resources to meet business needs while supporting career development
- Communicate project opportunities and staffing rationale to staff and senior stakeholders
- Build relationships with BCG X talent to understand developmental needs and preferences for staffing
- Manage end-to-end staffing processes and collaborate with the staffing team on solutions
- Provide visibility on current and planned resource allocation and consider diversity implications
- Maintain tools and trackers for staff commitments, training, and time-off requests
- Collaborate with People & Development, Finance, and HR to keep staff data accurate
- Contribute to budgeting and financial approvals related to resource allocation
- Support mobility programs and align with stakeholders before approvals
- Assist in CDC meetings and reinforce development messages through staffing decisions
- Work with Global and Line of Business stakeholders on career support and mobility alignment
- Partner with Finance to ensure correct financial allocation and monitor timesheets and case extensions
- Engage with X EMESA leadership and BST talent to optimize staffing and development
Key requirements
- 4-6 years’ experience in professional services or technology services, ideally in staffing, workforce planning, people, or recruiting
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Experience in fast-paced, global, service-oriented environments
- Ability to communicate effectively across organizational levels
