What You'll Do

The People Strategy and Analytics team for LAB (London, Amsterdam, Brussels) plays a key role in executing the people agenda.

By partnering closely with the People Functions and applying deep analytical and D&I expertise, the team supports strategic decision making and brings people data to life through impactful analysis and visualization.

The LAB People Strategy and Analytics Director serves as a senior strategic advisor to People and CT leadership across the LAB system, translating complex people data into actionable insights that drive evidence based decision making.

The role holds full accountability for CT capacity planning, the annual consultant bonus process, and gender pay gap reporting, while shaping and delivering the broader LAB People Strategy in alignment with local, regional, and global priorities.

This role also leads the LAB UP strategy and ensures Diversity & Inclusion considerations are embedded across all people processes.

  • Your responsibilities
  • Act as senior advisor to People and CT leadership, enabling data driven decision making through strategic analysis and insight.
  • Full accountability for LAB CT capacity submission and monthly processes, driving senior partnerships with Function MDPs/LAB People Function leads to deliver capacity agenda.
  • Strategic advisor to People & Ops Executive Director, LAB People Chair, and broader LAB Leadership on People Strategy; driving design, implementation and delivery and ensuring alignment with local, global and regional priorities.
  • Lead the translation of people insights into actionable strategies that enhance talent management, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with Regional/Global colleagues to influence new tools/initiatives impacting LAB.
  • Champion best in class data governance and foster a culture of evidence based decision making across LAB People and CT teams.
  • Oversee the design, project management, and delivery of the annual Consultant (CT) bonus process, in collaboration with the Career Development team.
  • Promote and drive the adoption of AI and digital tools across the People and Business Services functions, creating efficiency and innovation.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to junior team members, fostering professional growth and analytical excellence.
  • Build a high performing team culture that emphasizes collaboration, curiosity, and impact.
  • Drive UK Gender Pay Gap reporting for LAB, and subsequent EU reporting in line with upcoming legislation.
  • Partner LAB UP MDP to lead the LAB UP strategy in collaboration with local and regional leadership, aligning initiatives to BCG's global ambitions.
  • Ensure D&I considerations are integrated into people processes, from workforce planning to performance management.
  • Serve as a visible advocate for D&I, fostering dialogue and awareness across LAB offices and contributing to BCG's culture of inclusion.
  • Ownership of team budget.
  • What You'll Bring Experience
  • 10+ years of experience in People/HR strategy, analytics, or a related field within a large, complex professional services or corporate environment.
  • Proven track record of operating as a senior advisor to executive level stakeholders, influencing decision making through data driven insights.
  • Experience leading workforce planning, talent management, or organisational effectiveness agendas.
  • Experience owning and delivering complex, cross functional people processes (e. g. compensation cycles, capacity planning, regulatory reporting).
  • Prior exposure to Diversity & Inclusion strategy and/or gender pay gap reporting is strongly preferred.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills
  • Proficiency in HR analytics or MI reporting preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesise complex datasets into clear, compelling narratives for senior audiences.
  • Familiarity with AI and digital tools in a People or Business Services context.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualisation tools; experience with HR information systems in a large organisation.
  • Leadership & Interpersonal Skills
  • Experienced people leader with a track record of building and developing high performing teams.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and partner at MDP/Executive Director level and above.
  • Strong project ownership and the ability to manage multiple high priority workstreams simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to present with clarity and confidence to senior leadership.
