What You’ll Do
The Platform Enablement Lead (Director) plays a critical role in ensuring the platform operates with clarity, discipline, and impact. This role is accountable for establishing a strong operating rhythm, enabling high‑quality decision making, and ensuring execution against strategic priorities and OKRs. The role goes beyond coordination. It requires hands‑on leadership through enablement, setting clear expectations, driving alignment across stakeholders, and holding teams accountable for outcomes. As the platform scales post‑launch, this role is essential to moving from ad‑hoc execution to a predictable, scalable operating model.
- Operating Rhythm & Governance: Own and continuously improve the platform’s end‑to‑end operating cadence (e.g., WBR, planning cycles, reviews, ABRs). Ensure governance forums are well‑prepared, decision‑focused, and outcome‑driven. Define and enforce clear standards for inputs, quality, ownership, and timelines. Act as the single point of accountability for operational consistency and follow‑through.
- Strategic Execution & Decision Support: Enable Delivery Owners (DOs) to translate priorities into clear, structured proposals. Ensure all proposals include: A clearly articulated problem statement, strategic rationale and business value, risks, dependencies, and trade‑offs, clear, measurable OKRs, implications of inaction. Proactively surface misalignment, execution risk, and decision points. Partner closely with strategy and transformation leads to track progress against OKRs and priorities.
- Stakeholder Alignment & Representation: Drive early and sustained alignment with key partner teams (e.g., ISRM, Architecture). Ensure proposals reflect stakeholder buy‑in before senior reviews. Represent the platform in cross‑functional forums with credibility and sound judgment. Act as a trusted delegate for senior leadership where appropriate.
- Performance Management & Accountability: Reinforce clear accountability across DOs and workstreams. Track delivery against commitments and outcomes, not just activity. Ensure quality reviews and alignment occur before senior forums—not during them. Support teams in meeting expectations while maintaining a high bar for quality.
- Reporting, Data Quality & Automation: Lead the shift toward high‑quality, owner‑driven, and automated reporting. Reduce reliance on manual data collection and slide‑based reporting. Leverage tools (e.g., MS Planner) as systems of record, using WBR as a proof point for scalable reporting.
- Team Engagement & Health: Maintain a pulse on team engagement, inclusion, and workload. Foster a culture of ownership, preparation, and continuous improvement. Bring structure without bureaucracy and rigor without friction.
You’re Good At
- Proven ability to drive alignment without formal authority.
- Track record of translating strategy into execution with measurable outcomes.
- High judgment, strong ownership mindset, and comfort holding teams accountable.
- Experience designing and running governance, operating models, and performance management processes.
What You’ll Bring
- 10–12+ years of relevant experience leading complex cross‑functional initiatives.
- Strong strategic framing, executive communication, and facilitation skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required and Master's degree preferred.
- Global Experience: Demonstrated experience in a global role, managing stakeholders and recruitment across different regions (North America, Europe, APAC).
