Key responsibilities:
- Nurture and develop our design system as the organisation's main point of contact, maintaining global consistency across our products and collaborating with engineers to ensure implementation and efficiency.
- Keep abreast of new patterns and trends to ensure we are providing the best user experience possible.
- Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for stakeholder presentation and user testing.
- Partner with engineers to ensure designs are feasible and implemented as intended.
- Plan and participate in user interviews and testing, summarising pain points and areas of improvement with colleagues in line with product roadmaps.
- Work alongside team members on data point gathering and assets for A/B testing.
What you’ll need to have:
- Strong experience creating and maintaining design systems and token libraries.
- Expert knowledge of Figma (auto layout, components, variables, Make).
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and mobile (iOS/Android) constraints.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating problem-solving skills.
- Experience designing digital products.
- Comfortable giving and receiving constructive design feedback.
It would be great if you also have:
- Experience in user research and testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards in design.
