Are you a qualified Pharmacist seeking a new role? We are looking for someone to join our fantastic team in Oxford Cornmarket! You will be based at one of our Health Centre stores with STAC and DSP. As a Pharmacist here you will spend more time with patients offering NHS and private services, ensuring that you're using your license to your full potential! We provide all travel services at this store as well as ear waxing. You will also have double cover on a daily basis and support from a Nurse, where it will feel similar to working in a Doctors surgery. We expect the pharmacy business to grow even more with the plan for a third consultation room to be built. This is a full time, 40 hour per week opportunity. It will include working every Sunday and three evenings per week until 8pm when the store closes.
As part of our pharmacy team, you’ll be supported by a fantastic group of experienced Pharmacy Technicians with checking capability, and Pharmacy Advisors, alongside a strong retail management team, dedicated Area Manager, and Director of Stores. We’re proud to offer the opportunity to complete your Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification – fully funded by Boots. Both experienced pharmacists and newly qualified pharmacists are welcome to apply for this role.

About the role:
As a Pharmacist with us you’ll be providing excellent customer and patient care, it’s more than dispensing medicine, it’s listening and providing your expert advice and reassurance. Your main areas of responsibility will be:
- Delivering the pharmacy strategy through providing expert care and advice
- Accountable for legal and ethical decisions in the pharmacy
- Building the pharmacy capability of store teams
- Conducting continual review through audit, observations and risk assessment to ensure customer and patient safety is paramount
- Delivering a range of professional pharmacy services

- Be registered with relevant pharmacy regulator (GPhC, PSNI, PSI)

- Have excellent knowledge of pharmacy operations and provisions of national and local services
