What you’ll be doing

As a Trading Law and Compliance Paralegal, you will play a vital role in supporting our compliance and ethics programme, ensuring that we uphold the highest standards in our operations. The Trading Law and Compliance Paralegal/Advisor will provide critical support to the Compliance and Privacy Director, Boots and Head of Trading Law and Compliance within the in‑house legal team at Boots. The role will help to drive a robust compliance and ethics program within Boots and the No7 Beauty Company. This role will also play a crucial role in helping Boots and the No7 Beauty Company to comply with applicable legal, regulatory and internal policy requirements. There will also be an opportunity to play a significant role in the provision of day‑to‑day trading law advice to key business stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Support the compliance and ethics programme for Boots and No7 Beauty Company.
- Generate insightful compliance reports using Microsoft Power BI and Co-Pilot.
- Provide expert trading law advice, including the approval of marketing content.
- Assist in training and updates for cross‑functional stakeholders on compliance matters.
- Facilitate the documentation of internal policy governance processes.

- A keen interest in business governance and compliance processes.
- Strong reporting and analytical skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and a structured work approach.
- Clear and effective communication skills, particularly with senior leaders.

- An undergraduate law degree or equivalent in consumer protection.
- Experience or interest in consumer protection law.
