We offer the expertise and creativity of an external agency combined with the speed and deep brand insight of an in-house team. Backed by years of experience working with Boots and No7 Beauty Company, we deliver results tailored to each brand's unique identity.
We're looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to join the design team, based in Nottingham. Working at the heart of the B-hive, you will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders across the business to deliver a variety of creative design elements. You will be working on Boots streams of work, this can include anything from emails and web pages to social media content. You'll create engaging, high-quality work with exceptional attention to detail, designing for a wide range of digital and print platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Create a wide range of assets for Boots, working across beauty, health, pharmacy, and wellness, following Boots style guidelines and tone of voice.
- Take design briefs from concept to completion for a wide range of assets.
- Be innovative and take creative control over given briefs.
- Work within different brand styles, ensuring each piece aligns with the correct look and feel for each client or campaign.
- Work as part of the wider B-hive team to ensure consistency of quality and deliver to deadline.
What you'll need to have (our must-haves)
- Able to demonstrate graphic design skills with a strong portfolio (Please provide a link to your portfolio as part of your application.)
- At least 1-2 years design experience either in an agency or in-house.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for visual composition.
- Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Graphic Design Degree or similar creative education or experience.
- Confident using the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Adobe XD; other creative skills are desired but not essential.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- A desire to work within a team, giving and receiving constructive feedback and direction.
- A keen interest in retail, specifically the beauty and health industry.
