Are you ready to shape the future of our People function at Boots? We are seeking a forward-thinking People Technology Manager to lead our People Systems landscape in Nottingham. You will lead a small team of specialists, ensuring our systems are efficient, integrated, and deliver exceptional experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and Develop a Specialist Team: Manage and coach a team of system specialists, setting clear direction, building capability, and ensuring high performance across all platforms.
- Drive System Optimisation and Integration: Oversee the performance, configuration, and continuous improvement of all people systems, ensuring they are streamlined, scalable, and effectively integrated.
- Partner with Stakeholders: Collaborate with senior leaders and crossâfunctional teams to identify current and future technology needs, translating these into impactful solutions.
- Manage Vendor Relationships: Work closely with external suppliers to influence product roadmaps, maximise system value, and ensure delivery against business requirements.
- Leverage Data & Insights: Use analytics and feedback to evaluate system effectiveness, inform decisionâmaking, and continuously enhance user experience and adoption.
- Drive Innovation and Emerging Technology: Explore and implement new technologies, including AI and automation, to improve efficiency and transform how we deliver people services.
- Improve Efficiency and Automation: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce manual processes, and increase operational effectiveness across all platforms.
- Proven expertise in HR technologies
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and digital workplace tools
- Experience managing and developing technical or systemsâfocused teams
- Strong project and programme management capability, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated ability to drive technology strategy and transformation
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM/ATS platforms
