Join Our Team as a Category Insights Manager! Are you passionate about turning insights into action? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where your analytical skills can make a real impact? At Boots, we are looking for a talented Category Insights Manager to join our Beauty Insights team in Nottingham. Here, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Beauty brands and categories to grow through customer, market, and performance insights. We work with a range of internal and external data sources but key ones within this role are market data sources such as Circana, Kantar as well as data from our Advantage Card holders providing us with rich insight into our customers.
What you’ll be doing
- Act as a key partner to our Beauty commercial and marketing teams, providing customer-focused insights and market context.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders to champion the voice of the customer.
- Identify and drive business performance through a holistic provision of insights, integrating internal and external data sources.
- Provide detailed market and competitor analysis using epos and panel data.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, exploring new ways of working.
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)
- Strong knowledge of consumer and customer trends influencing the retail landscape.
- Experience with epos and panel market data sources such as Circana and Kantar.
- Proven track record in managing stakeholders and influencing business decisions.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesise multiple data sources into actionable insights.
- Strong communication and project management skills.

- Experience in Beauty categories.
- Familiarity with a range of analytical tools and techniques.
