We have an exciting opportunity within our Logistics team for a Programme Manager to support our journey as we look to transform our logistics operations. This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering major logistics infrastructure projects, driving the introduction of new facilities, automation, and advanced Logistics IT capabilities. The role will require substantial travel across the UK and Ireland. As a Programme Manager, you will help ensure the seamless execution of large-scale logistics projects, minimising disruption, and delivering results within budget. This is an opportunity to shape the future of our logistics operations and make a significant impact on our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Delivery: Plan and deliver major logistics projects, ensuring minimal disruption in live operational environments. Contribute to the strategic planning of the wider transformational programme, helping drive the long-term vision of the logistics function.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage and hold stakeholders accountable, ensuring projects are delivered according to plan.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with important partners in operations, finance, and procurement to ensure smooth delivery of projects whilst ensuring all projects are delivered within budget.
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Communication: Provide clear and effective communication at all levels to keep stakeholders engaged and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Post-Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough post-investment analysis to measure success and ensure that the scope and goals of the projects are met.

What you’ll need to have

  • Experience of delivering multiple business critical workstreams in live environments.
  • A proven track record for timely project delivery, project management, cost control with proven customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to make decisions against tight timescales.
  • Experience working to regulatory standards (MHRA) and Health and Safety standards.
  • Confident on basic IT systems such as Outlook, Excel, Teams, Power BI, Sharepoint, MS project.
  • Non-academic qualifications such as Prince II would be advantageous.
