This is an exciting time in The Boots Group, as activities undertaken to modernise our store Estate need to drive results at scale to support the acceleration of change and developments across our portfolio. This investment requires additional team members to support transformations in and with our stores, partners and project teams.
Our property team plays a critical role in helping to shape our organisation – by leading the implementation of interventions within trading stores and managing the opening of new stores. Interventions can include total refurbishments, dispensary improvements, trials, and beauty hall reconfigurations. From simple to complex changes across strategic initiatives and store improvements. The Project Management Team works with Stores and Contractors to ensure schemes are landed effectively to agreed programmes and quality, on time and within budget, and with the minimum disruption to stores and their ability to trade.
This role reports directly to the Head of Property Project Management and is a pivotal role as part of the Project Management Team. The Interventions Project Manager leads the project team through the programme-life cycle of the project, from scoping and feasibility, through to on-site, completion, snagging and scheme sign off. Working with internal, external teams and partners to deliver projects to time, cost and quality through collaborative teamwork.

- Proven experience delivering retail, commercial fit‑out, or fast‑track property projects.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience managing large cross‑functional teams including external contractors, and store teams.
- Strong understanding of store requirements, construction processes, design to delivery, and store operations.
- Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of landlord approval processes and planning requirements.
- Strong understanding of current Building Regulations, The Building Act and CDM Regulations.
- Knowledge of sustainability standards and methods of construction.
- Ability to hold others to account, constructively challenging for optimum solutions to enable effective & efficient delivery.
- Ability to enable solutions to issues, share root causes & learnings to continuously improve.
- Driving and reviewing performance.
- Must have full Driving License.
- A relevant project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
- Experience in stakeholder management and engagement.
- Familiarity with property management systems and tools.
- Professional qualifications (Project Management, Property or equivalent experience).
