About the role

The Instant Delivery Project Manager will report into the Head of Instant Delivery and support in developing this unique delivery proposition working with our main partners. You will be responsible for managing the development roadmap and portfolio of projects to keep fuelling the growth of the channel.

Key responsibilities

  • Our instant delivery team sits within the wider boots Digital team and support the trading and management of the channel.

  • Leading, and managing the implementation of the instant delivery roadmap working closely with our partners and Boots partners to inspire the best performance

  • ·Lead on projects including partner integrations, data management, store portfolio and loyalty

  • Leading the end-to-end project lifecycle, from planning, implementation, and evaluation of the projects

  • Troubleshoot, solving and escalating issues as required

  • Tracking of financial aspects of projects and ability to give clear accounts of spend

  • Support the wider digital team in the Condor re-platform ensuring instant delivery requirements are captured and met, and support on Orion transition

  • Lead the relationship with IT and provide regular updates to all partners on project statuses

  • Building relationships and working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to lead the development delivery proposition across Boots channels and partner platforms.

  • Will be heavily involved in evolution of partner propositions and participate in project work to continuously improve the apps and capabilities

  • Explore opportunities for growth and lead on development requirements e.g. £10 Tuesday, PMED\’s, PIM integration

  • Line management of project focussed side of instant delivery team supporting with workload and development

  • You are extremely organised and experienced in project and/or programme management (ideally MSP or PRINCE2 qualified)

  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities, and challenging partners

  • Confident, flexible and unflappable and will challenge when deadlines are not met or standards not achieved

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and good attention to detail

  • Works well with others and experienced in working cross-functionality with a diverse range of people – including effectively holding others to account when needed

  • Able to follow guidelines & processes but know when these can/are flexed

  • Experience of digital and/or third-party delivery providers is desirable but not essentia

  • Experience in data solutions – will be responsible for reporting suite of data and continued development including advantage card reporting
