The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
A field-based role supporting our Franchise Partners across the Franchise estate in delivering sales growth, compliance, operating standards and Franchise Partner development.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of regional & company profit targets and protect our Brand by driving incredible standards in franchise stores on all relevant matters, whilst helping secure investments in property and technology.
- Build relationships across franchise stores, developing the operational skillset & capability of partners and supporting the attraction, pipeline, recruitment and performance of partners.
- Work with Franchise, Retail, Finance and support office colleagues to develop and deliver company Operational plans.
- Accountable for +45 Opticians stores ensuring we protect our Brand in clinical, commercial, GOC, legal and people governance, and securing sizeable investments to property and technology.
- Develop the capability of Franchise Partners ensuring they deliver to the terms of their contract.
- Support the Franchise Regional Manager to deliver operational excellence across the region, including patient safety, clinical, commercial and retail standards.
- Take a critical role ensuring each Franchise partner has a clear 5 year performance, investment and location plan.
- Coach franchise partners, removing optionality, and share best practice across all Regions.
- Upskill store teams across the Region to meet operational goals.
What you’ll need to have (our must-haves):
- Experience in leadership roles across a geography and exposure to Optical, Franchise, JV and Company owned business models.
- Ability to influence and support change within a cross-functional team.
- Strong commercial skills and an understanding of Finance, P&L, cash-flow, business development, ROI and business management.
- Recent and up-to-date opticians store experience essential alongside experience with Opticians store operational process, KPIs and loss levers.
- A zero-tolerance mindset for non-compliance and optionality to follow processes is essential and great coaching skills to get to the root cause of an issue and then identify ways to solve them.
- Excellent organisation skills and be an effective verbal & written communicator, knowing when to face into challenges 121.
- Experience in identifying trends in data is essential and a large part of the role, then being able to implement actions to improve, review results and advise on next steps.
It would be great if you also have:
- Previous field role experience within Optical Industry.
- Previous Franchise experience.
