Our primary business is contract packaging, storage and duty suspended storage, we specialise in assembling cases, cartons, and gift packs for various industries.
We offer competitive and flexible storage solutions with over 300,000 sq/ft of warehouse space, and have full excise bonded status at our Hillington site for duty suspended goods. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive picking, packing, and despatch service, handling thousands of products for global distribution.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Glasgow for an Excise Bond Administrator. The Excise Bond Administrator will manage complex administrative and compliance tasks for handling duty-suspended excise goods (alcohol) and day to day administrative tasks related to bonded warehousing.
Responsibilities will include, managing stocks, providing orders to other departments, ensuring compliance with all relevant customs regulations, processing necessary customs documentation EMCS, NES, eADs, managing inventory records, and coordinating with various departments to ensure efficient operations. Additionally, the role includes maintaining high standards of customer service by addressing queries and resolving issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills
- Strong organisational and record-keeping abilities
- Experience of bonded warehouse operations
- Understanding of HMRC Excise compliance, regulations and documentation
- Proficiency in using relevant software, WMS and software packages (MSO)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
