We are a well-established local plumbing and heating company based in Takeley looking to recruit an experienced Plumbing & Heating engineer to join our growing team.

Role Overview

This is a permanent full-time role carrying out a variety of domestic plumbing and heating work, including installations, maintenance and breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general boiler and heating system servicing and maintenance.
  • Diagnosing and repairing heating system breakdowns.
  • Gas Boiler installations.
  • General plumbing repairs and installations.
  • Diagnosing and resolving plumbing faults efficiently and professionally.
  • Ensure all work complies with current safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent customer service and communication.

What We Offer

  • £35,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience.

Requirements

  • Domestic ACS Gas Safe Certified (CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT, CEN1, CPA1)
  • City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Proven experience as a plumbing and heating engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of boiler installations and heating systems.
  • Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs independently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, professional and customer-focused.
