The Training Systems Integrator will be a 737 Flight Training Development Subject Matter Expert, who leads in identifying customer technical training needs and requirements and develops flight training curriculum for Boeing commercial airplanes. In this role, you will lead in evaluating and determining training objectives, content, design, and technologies. Prepares briefing/debriefing presentations, lesson plans, and training manuals for type, recurrent, differences, and specialty training for Boeing internal and external customer use. This Training Systems Integrator researches, develops, delivers, and evaluates effectiveness of technical training. Included in this role is the opportunity to develop and provide recommendations on training standards and specifications. You will have the opportunity to travel internationally to participate in tryouts of draft training curriculum in simulator devices. This is a hybrid position that allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This role is based out of Crawley, UK.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with developing flight training courseware
- Defines standard and customer specific training requirements and develops proposals to satisfy requirements
- Analyze training requirements to provide technical content to support learning objectives
- Review courseware, instructor materials, and supporting documentation for technical accuracy
- Analyze training effectiveness to ensure training effectiveness and inform courseware revisions
- Review comments and collaborate with team to reconcile conflicting inputs
- Researches and evaluates training delivery methods for incorporation into new and existing courseware
- Ensures technical accuracy of flight training courseware
Work Authorisation: This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants.
Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll. Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience as a pilot with 737 experience or as an instructor on any type Airline Transport Pilot license or foreign equivalent
- Experience working with Instructional Systems Designers to develop flight training courseware
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent
- Experience developing flight training courseware for 737 operations
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation or education
- Pilot with experience flying Boeing airplanes
- Experience as an instructor pilot or examiner
- Experience developing Crew Resource Management or Competency Based Training
- Detail oriented
