In this exciting role, you will be responsible for managing and growing key customer relationships within the United Kingdom. You will execute sales strategies, support the full sales cycle, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions, monitor market trends, and lead negotiations. Your strong relationship-building and communication skills will be essential to driving business growth and maintaining a competitive position in the aerospace market.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders within the UK, largely including OEM and the sub-tier.
- Sales Execution: Support the implementation of sales strategies by actively managing assigned key accounts to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction.
- Sales Cycle: Manage day-to-day sales activities for assigned accounts, including order processing, follow-up, and customer service, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
- Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and account updates to inform regional management and support strategic planning.
- Negotiations: Lead negotiations with customers in cooperation with sales leadership by gathering information and preparing necessary documentation.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities and market trends within the region to provide insights that support sales efforts.
- Customer Solutions: Work closely with internal teams to coordinate the delivery of customer-specific solutions and ensure alignment with customer requirements.
- Networking: Develop and maintain a network of contacts within the region to support business development and strengthen customer relationships.
- 6+ years of experience in technical outside sales and marketing.
- Proficiency with common CRM tools (Salesforce etc.).
- Solid experience with ERP systems (SAP being highly desired).
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%.
- A bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration or similar, preferably with a focus on sales.
