The MRO System Support Specialist will support day-to-day users of the MRO system by providing first-line assistance, troubleshooting basic issues, and helping maintain data accuracy and process compliance. Working under the guidance of the senior support lead, this role will build knowledge of aircraft MRO practices, military parts management, and system operations, while supporting the existing MRO system assisting with the move to Siemens Opcenter in future.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line support to end users of the MRO system.
  • Log, track, and follow up on user issues, questions, and service requests.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate system data related to maintenance activities, parts, and records.
  • Support users in understanding system processes and standard workflows.
  • Help ensure MRO system entries align with approved maintenance and material processes.
  • Assist in checking part details, status, and traceability information, particularly in support of military aircraft operations.
  • Escalate more complex issues to senior team members or technical support.
  • Support testing of system changes, fixes, and future migration activities.
  • Help update user guides, work instructions, and support documentation.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, supply chain, and quality teams as required to resolve routine issues.
  • Participate in system training and knowledge transfer activities.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues or user pain points.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

  • The ability to gain Security Clearance.
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of aircraft MRO processes.
  • Exposure to aircraft parts, materials, or records control.
  • Good coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and follow structured processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Comfortable using enterprise systems and supporting end users.
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills at a foundational level.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload with guidance.
  • Previous experience as aircraft apprentice or technician would be helpful.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

  • Experience in an aerospace, maintenance, or supply chain environment.
  • Familiarity with an enterprise MRO system.
  • Understanding of military/civil aviation parts or maintenance terminology.
  • Experience with user support, data administration, or operational system support.
  • Interest in future transition to Siemens Opcenter or digital manufacturing/MRO systems.

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
