Role Overview: Team Leader at The Body Shop responsible for customer experience, sales performance, store operations and people management in a retail environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate ability to work independently, act with urgency, handle customer concerns, and share feedback with store management.
  • Support maintenance of store layout, inventory management and other store operations according to guidelines.
  • Coach Customer Consultants to achieve exceptional customer service standards in partnership with store management.
  • Act as an ambassador of The Body Shop campaigns and enhance customer experience through storytelling about products.
  • Understand sales trends, monitor and manage change, and operate multiple systems.
  • Meet sales/performance targets and assist store management in recruiting the right team.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, including audit documentation.
  • Coordinate between customers, team and manager, and assist in training new staff.
