Your role in a nutshell: We are looking for an experienced Communication Lead to oversee earned media, influencer partnerships and social media channels for The Body Shop UK. This strategic role will manage budget, reporting, analysis and campaign planning and execution across earned media relationships, paid influencer partnerships and UK social media channels. This role has a clear focus on driving consistent noise, advocacy and reputation to increase brand awareness and perception.

More about the role:

  • Earned Media: Devise, implement and manage highly strategic earned media plans that support brand and business goals. Responsible for managing the brand’s reputation in the UK. Build and maintain relationships with UK media, VIPs and opinion leaders. Execute activations that build brand love and advocacy with key press, influencers, VIPs and opinion leaders.
  • Social Media: Oversee social media strategy for UK channels (currently TikTok and Facebook). Own the delivery of the content calendar. Nurture and grow community and customer engagement. Work closely with the Global team, ensuring visibility on Global IG. Drive best in class practices and innovation, keeping constantly up to date on the changes across channels.
  • Influencer Partnerships: Devise, implement and manage an influencer strategy that supports brand and business goals. Interrogate campaigns and plans to ensure they are best in class. Drive innovation in this space, with a deep understanding of the changes in this area. Maximise partnerships to ensure we’re getting the most from them, always thinking in an omni-channel way. Manage key agencies that we work with to support us across all three areas (earned media, social media and influencer partnerships), ensuring that they reach KPIs.
