When Anita Roddick founded The Body Shop in 1976, she had a vision. Business as a force for good – that’s us. 50 years later, we’re proud to be pioneering cruelty‑free beauty every step of the way. We’re the original ethical beauty brand. We’ve got a thing for empowering people and enriching our planet. Our activist roots remain a huge part of everything we do, from our iconic window posters to our vegetarian products to our infamous campaigns. We’re never afraid to stand up and speak the truth.
The Body Shop is committed to generating positive economic, social and environmental impact. We’re fighting for what we believe in now more than ever. Breaking the mould has always come naturally to us, and we need someone who’s not afraid to mix things up.
Your role in a nutshell: As our Digital Retailer Manager, you’ll help grow our brand presence, consumer engagement and commercial performance across Amazon and other online retail partners. Joining our Global Digital team and reporting to the International Digital Director, you’ll bring together creative thinking, commercial awareness and strong project management to deliver effective digital retailer campaigns.
You’ll lead agency relationships and work with colleagues across global markets to bring campaigns to life, ensuring content is on‑brand, activity is delivered on time, stock is available when needed and budgets work effectively. Using performance insights, you’ll continually identify opportunities to improve visibility, customer experience and results.
More about the role:
- Lead day‑to‑day relationships with external media agencies, setting clear briefs, priorities, timelines and KPIs, and challenging recommendations to ensure they meet brand, retailer and commercial objectives.
- Manage campaign budgets, purchase orders, invoicing and expenditure, keeping delivery on track and ensuring value for money.
- Partner with the Digital Content Manager and agencies to oversee creative development, from briefing and concepts through to approval, production and delivery. Ensure assets meet brand guidelines, retailer specifications and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Strengthen our digital brand presence through imagery, video, product storytelling and rich content, maintaining consistency while tailoring assets to individual retailers and audiences.
- Own the execution of Amazon brand marketing activity and work with agencies to optimise product detail pages, imagery, titles, descriptions, A+ Content and Brand Stores.
- Support Amazon advertising, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display where appropriate, and coordinate activity around key trading periods, launches, promotions and seasonal opportunities.
- Develop and deliver marketing plans across online retail partners, coordinating campaigns, media plans and assets to meet retailer deadlines and support wider brand and commercial priorities.
- Act as a key contact for global markets, supporting Amazon and other pure‑play wholesale accounts and building collaborative relationships with colleagues, agencies and retailers.
- Track and report on traffic, conversion, advertising return, sales and content effectiveness. Use insights to improve search visibility, product content, customer experience and future activity, while keeping up to date with Amazon developments and best practice.
What we look for:
- Commercial and strategic thinking: You understand how digital marketing supports sales, brand growth and retailer performance, and can translate business priorities into effective activity.
- Creative judgement: You have a strong eye for quality and know how to turn brand strategy into engaging digital content that works across retailer platforms.
- Strong relationship‑building skills: You build productive partnerships with agencies and internal stakeholders, combining collaboration with clear direction and accountability.
- An analytical approach: You use performance data and insights to make informed decisions, identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent organisation: You can manage multiple campaigns, agencies, stakeholders and deadlines while maintaining oversight of budgets and delivery.
- A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset: You anticipate challenges, take ownership and look for ways to improve how things are done.
